Fuxian Lake Travel Itinerary | Recommended Route

Day 1 Take a coach bound for Chengjiang County from Kunming East Bus Station. The ride takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival in Chengjiang, transfer to a minibus for another 20 minutes to reach Fuxian Lake Scenic Area and its core zone — Luchong Village.

Alternatively, board a bus to Chengjiang at Kunming West Bus Station (56 kilometers in total). Explore the scenic views of Luchong first, then take a speedboat to Gushan Island. Continue south to visit the Fish-Dividing Rock. Finally, travel by bus from Jiangchuan to Yuxi for overnight stay.

Day 2 In the morning, head to Xiushan Park and climb Xiushan Mountain. In the afternoon, visit Yuxi Cigarette Factory and Hongta Mountain in the industrial zone.

Take City Bus No.2 to Nie Er Park on Fenghuang Road, where you can tour Nie Er's Former Residence and Nie Er Memorial Hall, and stroll around downtown Yuxi. Afterwards, catch a coach at the Central Bus Station back to Kunming West Bus Station (87 kilometers in total).
