Where is the Jinyintan Grassland & How to Get There
Jinyintan Grassland is located in Haiyan County, Qinghai Province. To its west, Tongbao Mountain borders Qinghai Lake. Its northern and eastern sides are surrounded by towering mountains, while its south connects with Sanjiao Town of Haiyan County (the site of Xihai Jun, constructed during the reign of Wang Mang in the Western Han Dynasty). Two rivers, the Mapi River and Halijin River, run through this vast grassland covering an area of 1,100 square kilometers. This is the renowned Golden and Silver Beach Grassland of Qinghai.
