Where is the Hundred-Li Rapeseed Flower Sea & How to Get There
The Hundred-Li Rapeseed Flower Sea is a natural scenic tourist area. Stretching about 50 kilometers long and 12 kilometers wide, it covers an area of 535 square kilometers and ranks as China’s largest northern small rapeseed planting base.
Every July hosts the annual Rapeseed Flower Tourism Festival, which marks the perfect time to admire the rapeseed blossoms. In July, Haomenchuan Valley turns into an ocean of flowers as well as a sea of songs and dances, presenting unique plateau pastoral scenery. The Hundred-Li Rapeseed Flower Scenic Area has won the Western Development Entrepreneurship Award, making it an ideal destination for agro-ecological sightseeing.
