Dafeng Holland Flower Sea used to be free of charge, but the free admission policy has now come to an end. The scenic area has officially launched a one-card ticket, which visitors must swipe to enter.

Ticket prices vary between peak and off-seasons. During the International Tulip Cultural Festival from early April to early May, the one-card ticket costs 50 yuan per person, and the student ticket is 25 yuan. Tickets are much cheaper for the rest of the year.

To prepare for the annual International Tulip Cultural Festival and present better scenery to visitors, the scenic area usually closes for a few days ahead of the event. The closure period varies each year.

For the 2015 Tulip Cultural Festival, the scenic area was closed for 5 days from March 30 to April 3 and suspended visitor reception during this period. It resumed normal operation on April 4.
