How much is the admission ticket for Yancheng Dazong Lake?
Located in the western suburbs of Yancheng, Dazong Lake is oval-shaped. It stretches 6 kilometers from east to west and 5.5 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 45,000 mu with an average water depth of about 1 meter. The lake water is crystal clear, and swimming fish can be seen distinctly. Towering pines, graceful weeping willows and lush green bamboos line the shore, forming a verdant woodland.
By the lake stand the tomb of Chen Lin, one of the Seven Scholars of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and the historic site where the dutiful son Wang Xiang lay on ice to catch fish. An elegant statue of a fisher maiden stands at the lake entrance, welcoming guests from all over the world.
The scenic area features ten major attractions: Ten-li Lotus Pond, Fishermen's Ballads on Xiangzhou Islet, Leaping Fish and Soaring Kites, Pagoda Silhouette under Buddhist Light, Moon-walking Cloud Corridor, Mirage Wonderland, Crabs Amid Blue Waves, Lovers' Cottages, Autumn Moon over Calm Lake and Water World. Adult ticket: Starting from ¥70 (original price ¥100, a discount of ¥30)
- Free admission for the disabled, seniors aged 70 and above (with valid ID documents), and children under or equal to 1.2 meters in height.
- Half-price tickets are available for seniors aged 60 to 69, active-duty military personnel and full-time students (with valid documents), as well as children between 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters in height.
