Recommended Tour Itineraries in Yuxi

A panoramic tour of Yuxi to enjoy its stunning natural scenery.

Day 1: Fuxian Lake Scenic Area → Luchong Village → Gushan Island → Fish-Dividing Rock Day 2: Hongta Industrial Zone → Nie Er Park

Day 1 Take a coach to Chengjiang County from Kunming East Bus Station. The journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, transfer to a minibus for a 20-minute ride to Luchong Village, the core area of Fuxian Lake Scenic Area.

Alternatively, board a bus to Chengjiang at Kunming West Bus Station (56 kilometers away). Explore the landscapes of Luchong first, then take a speedboat to Gushan Island. Continue south to visit the Fish-Dividing Rock, and travel to Yuxi City for an overnight stay via Jiangchuan.

Day 2 Visit Yuxi Cigarette Factory and Hongta Mountain in the urban area. Take City Bus No.2 to Nie Er Park on Fenghuang Road to tour Nie Er's Former Residence and Nie Er Memorial Hall, and stroll around downtown Yuxi. Finally, take a coach from the Central Bus Station back to Kunming West Bus Station (87 kilometers away).

Day 1 Take a coach to Tonghai County from Kunming East Bus Station (138 kilometers) or Kunming West Bus Station (135 kilometers). Xiushan Scenic Area is located on the outskirts of the county. After arriving, walk along South Street to explore Xiushan, then head south to visit Qilu Lake and Xingyun Lake. Stay overnight in Jiangchuan County.

Day 2 In the morning, travel from Jiangchuan to visit the Fish-Dividing Rock. Take a speedboat on the lake to Gushan Island, then proceed north to Mingxing Scenic Area to experience fishing with local fishermen. Enjoy the views of Fuxian Lake along the way and finish the tour at Luchong Village. Take a coach from Chengjiang back to Kunming West Bus Station (56 kilometers away).
