How to Get to Crocodile Hill Volcano Park & Travel Tips
You may ride electric scooters to the park before 8 a.m. and after 5:30 p.m. This rule applies to all scenic spots on Weizhou Island: riding is prohibited during working hours, but allowed freely once the staff finish work.
Riding official shuttle carts is a common choice. Below are guidelines for traveling by electric scooter:
Park your scooter at the Tourist Center for free. You will need an extra 10 minutes to walk to the scenic area (It takes over 15 minutes to walk from the fork in the road to the park entrance).
Park at the fork in the road for a fee of 5 yuan. It also takes more than 15 minutes to reach the scenic area on foot.
When you reach the fork and see staff stopping vehicles, turn right downhill toward Dishui Village. Park your scooter at the bend at the foot of the slope free of charge, then take a small path to enter the park. This route is shorter than walking directly from the fork
