Yinya Mountain – One of the Three Great Scenic Spots of Eastern Guangdong
Highlights
Yinya Mountain boasts unparalleled beauty among Chaozhou and Meizhou landscapes, renowned across Fujian and Guangdong. Together with Luofu Mountain and Nanhua Mountain, it is collectively known as "the Three Great Scenic Spots of Eastern Guangdong". Its summit features five clustered peaks named Wuzhi Peak (Five Fingers Peak), standing at an altitude of 1,297 metres. Standing on top to watch the sunrise, you will witness clouds surging like dragons spitting pearls. Gazing far into the distance, you can overlook Chaozhou, Tingzhou and Meizhou. A poet once wrote a line in praise:
Standing atop Five Fingers Peak, my eyes roam wide;
Deep amid white clouds, I behold three prefectures side by side.
Surrounded by rolling mountains, Yinya Mountain features imposing ridges, clear springs and exotic rock formations. Every stone forms a unique view, presenting an endless array of breathtaking scenery.

Wuzhi Stone – Magnificent Danxia Landform
Highlights
Wuzhi Stone boasts abundant unique natural and cultural landscapes. The scenic area features the "Five Wonders" (marvellous rocks, twisted vines, narrow crevices, ancient trees and hidden caves) and "Eight Iconic Sights" (Sword Gate, Stone Forest Temple, Spring of Wisdom, Primordial Chaos Pagoda, Thread of Sky, Immortal’s Bed, Longwu Palace and Azure Cloud Path), alongside over 60 other scenic spots including Tranquil Hermitage, Butterfly Valley and Ecological Park.
In plum blossom season, plum trees bloom all over the foothills, filling the air with sweet fragrance like an ocean of snow. The Wuzhi Stone Sky Trail, a high-altitude plank road opened during the 2013 National Day holiday, stretches 3.15 kilometres for its first phase. Its highest section rises more than 200 metres above the ground, ranking it as the No.1 high-altitude plank road in Guangdong Province. The trail winds along sheer Danxia cliffs, starting and ending at Noble Concubine Valley shaded by ancient trees. It snakes through cool, moist mountain forests, hanging precariously along precipices with rock faces overhead and sheer drops below.

Highlights
The giant natural Buddha stretches across two provinces: its torso lies in Guangdong while its feet extend into Jiangxi. Viewed from east to west, it resembles a Buddha lying on his back gazing up to heaven with a hearty laugh. Formed by interconnected mountain ridges, the reclining Buddha features distinctly outlined head, forehead, eyes, nose, lips, neck, chest, waist, legs and feet. At sunrise, the entire formation glows crimson; at sunset, golden rays spread behind it, casting a vivid silhouette of the giant Buddha.
