Yesanpo Scenic Area

Yesanpo lies in the northwest of Laishui County, Hebei Province, bordering Fangshan District of Beijing, boasting an excellent geographic location and convenient transportation. Covering a total area of 334.8 square kilometers, it features unique natural mountain and river landscapes shaped by special geological structures.

Yesanpo comprises four paid scenic zones: Baili Gorge, Longmen Heavenly Pass, Yugu Cave and Baicaopan, alongside the Juma River Leisure & Entertainment Zone. There is also Impression Yesanpo, a grand dance epic performance depicting local history.

Tour accommodation options here are abundant, ranging from star-rated hotels to rural farm courtyards, with numerous farm-style restaurants serving local specialties.

Nestled in mountainous terrain with rivers winding through, the area enjoys a pleasant climate with a large temperature difference between day and night. Its temperature is generally 3 to 5 degrees Celsius lower than Beijing.

Self-driving
Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway (G4) → Langfang-Zhuozhou Expressway (G5) → Zhangjiakou-Zhuozhou Expressway (G95) → Exit at Yesanpo → Exit at Baili Gorge → Exit at Baicaopan
Shuttle Bus
Direct tourist shuttle buses to Yesanpo depart from Beijing between 7:30 and 8:30. Return buses from Baili Gorge Scenic Area run from 17:00 to 17:30.
Fare: 38 RMB per person for a one-way trip
Train
Take Train 6437 departing from Beijing West Railway Station bound for Yesanpo; the trip takes 2 hours and 44 minutes.
