The architecture integrates distinctive local horse-head walls with modern design techniques. The roof is covered with bluish-grey tiles, and the facade is paved with grey-white ceramic slabs.
The whole building features a plain, natural style imbued with noble integrity, matching the temperament and breadth of General Suyu. It stands as one of the landmark buildings in Huitong County.
The horizontal board with the museum’s name was inscribed by Yang Shangkun, former President of the People’s Republic of China, in September 1991.
