Pine Forest Park

The scenic spot is under the jurisdiction of Xindian Forest Farm, 29 kilometers south of the county seat. It gets its name for being nestled within a Mongolian pine forest.

The woodland covers an area of 146,000 mu, including 54,000 mu of Mongolian pines, forming the largest sandy Mongolian pine forest in western Heilongjiang Province. Its core attraction is the Pine Viewing Tower, standing 10 meters tall. Climb the tower for a panoramic overlook of the entire forest stretching out before your eyes.

Besides the tower, the forest is equipped with log cabin "lovers’ cottages" for vacation stays, woodland hammocks, stone tables and benches, an open-air dance plaza, and a full range of grassland-style local delicacies.
