Jiangshan Village is situated in Fanglou Town, Lianhua County, Jiangxi Province. It covers a total area of 5 square kilometres with an agricultural population of 648 residents, and its forest coverage rate reaches 93%.

In recent years, local villagers have achieved remarkable accomplishments with extraordinary wisdom and hard work. A five-metre-wide cement road has been built connecting National Highway 319 with Jiangshan Village and extending to Gaozhou. Cement roads now reach every household, bringing highly convenient transportation.

The village was designated a Civilization Demonstration Village in 2005. It was developed as a new socialist countryside for three consecutive years from 2006 to 2008, winning wide acclaim from local residents and higher-level authorities.

It was honoured as the Most Beautiful Village in Jiangxi’s New Rural Construction Programme in 2007. In 2008, it received multiple awards including the Jiangxi Provincial Village with the Best Living Environment and one of Pingxiang’s Top Ten Beautiful Villages.

Nestled between mountains and rivers, the village enjoys warm winters and cool summers. Although close to busy towns, it remains peacefully secluded with excellent ecological conditions and lush green farmland. The villagers uphold high standards of civility, and nothing is left unattended on public roads. It is an ideal location for developing agritainment businesses and holiday tourism.

At present, the village has one small reservoir, one flower plantation base and one breeding base, with complete catering and accommodation facilities. Infrastructure construction is underway. Two kilometres of river embankment have been finished, along with greening work on both riverbanks and the renovation of General Reservoir.
