Jinggang Yuan · Azalea Red Ecological Park
The park is located in Yangjian Village, Qinting Town, on the southeastern outskirts of Lianhua County seat. It is about 2 kilometres from the county town and covers an area of 165.06 hectares. It has basically formed a landscape pattern integrating mountains, forests, fruit orchards, farmlands, gardens and villages.
The spatial layout follows the structure of One Core Connecting Six Zones:

Reception and Service Center
Including the main entrance of the tourist area, the ceremonial landscape avenue, Flower Fairy Square, main parking lot, administration & service centre, Flower Language Garden, shopping and food street, ecological public toilets and supporting facilities.

High-tech Demonstration Zone
Sightseeing vegetable and fruit garden, fantastic bonsai garden and botanical garden for the visually impaired.

Sunshine Wellness Zone
Forest bathing area, outward-bound training base, horse racing ground and mini golf course.

Waterfront Scenic Zone
Lotus Lake and lakeside dyke, Lotus Pavilion, wishing pool, lake island and zigzag bridge, aquatic plant garden.

Leisure and Holiday Zone
Four-star Lotus Lake Hotel, Lianxi Villa, quiet Lianxi Path, tennis court and squash court.

Science Popularization & Educational Zone
Peony Garden, flower art museum, four-season maze, Lotus Culture Corridor, children’s educational playground, rare plant garden, azalea garden, memorial woodland and wild flower zone.
In addition, there is a long-term peripheral development zone.
The planned construction period spanned from 2009 to 2015.

Up to now, a 12-metre-wide access road to the park has been completed, together with 8,000 metres of boundary walls. Nearly 200 mu of rare saplings have been planted, and two artificial lakes have been excavated.
