Guansheng Temple

Location: Wuwei Village, Jiangyin Economic Development Zone, Jingjiang City Period: Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty

Brief Introduction Guansheng Temple was originally constructed during the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty. It once contained 15 rooms covering a total area of 1,000 square meters, with a history of more than 280 years to date. The existing buildings include the Hall of the Three Saints, the Hall of Lord Guan, the Hall of Guanyin and auxiliary wing rooms.

Most structures of Guansheng Temple were severely damaged during wartime and the Great Cultural Revolution. In the late 1980s, local residents raised donations to renovate the temple on its original site. Its current preservation condition is fair.
