Colorful Changhong Tourist Scenic Area
A National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction. It is located in the northwest of Kaihua County, 35 kilometers away from the county seat, adjacent to Jiangwan, a National AAAAA-level Scenic Area in Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province. It features two distinctive core scenic spots: Taihuishan known as the "Potala Palace of the South of the Yangtze River" and the ancient village of Gaotiankeng, and ranks among the Top Ten Golden Rapeseed Flower Destinations in East China.
Its gorgeous multi-hued charm derives from three core themes: revolutionary red, ancient cultural antiquity and ecological green. It is a renowned revolutionary site, auspicious geomantic treasure land and wellness retreat in western Zhejiang, as well as a key rural tourism destination of the region.
Major attractions include Taihuishan (famous for golden rapeseed blossoms), Folk Custom Garden, Zhongshantang Tea Plantation, Ancient Gaotian Village, Clear Water Fish Viewing Spot, Revolutionary Kukeng Village, Heavenly Paradise, Zhuangyuan Beiyuan Village, Ancestral Tomb of King Qian, the settlement of Fan Zhongyan’s descendants, and the Cross-Province Single Village.
