Huliyetou Resort of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences
Affiliated to the Hailar Experimental Station of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences, Huliyetou Resort sits within Chenbalhu Banner, Hulunbuir City, at the 225-kilometre marker on the Manzhouli-Heishangtou Border Highway. It is 150 kilometres away from Hailar and 100 kilometres from Manzhouli.
Located on the China-Russia border, the resort faces Russian villages across the boundary river. It borders the renowned Huliyetou Wetland Nature Reserve. The area is encircled by lakes and rivers, thickly covered with reeds and willow trees. Dozens of rare bird species inhabit here, including swans, wild geese, cormorants, grey cranes and wild ducks. The stunning lake scenery and unique frontier river views make visitors linger on and forget to leave.
Integrating accommodation, catering and recreational services, the resort features European-style wooden villas. It consists of 17 standalone wooden villas, 22 standard rooms and 4 suites, with a total construction area of over 2,000 square metres, capable of accommodating 150 guests for dining and lodging simultaneously.
Visitors can savour ethnic delicacies such as hand-boiled lamb and whole roasted lamb, as well as the exclusive natural fresh fish feast unique to Huliyetou.
