Distant View of Tenglong Pavilion

Tenglong Pavilion stands atop Longzhong Mountain. The ten-story tower offers an unrivaled vantage point to overlook the entire Xiangyang City from a height. Structurally, it features five exterior floors and nine interior levels. Observation decks are arranged on the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th floors. As you climb upward floor by floor, the scenery unfolds in varying vistas, bringing distinct feelings at each height.

From afar, the pavilion strikes an imposing, unparalleled grandeur. Its upturned eaves glow with vermilion paint, soaring high into the sky with eight tiers of roof ridges. Up close, intricate interlocking wooden brackets adorn the structure, resplendent in golden and jade hues. Winding outer corridors wrap around the five outer levels, surrounded by lush green foliage where birds flit and frolic. Standing at the topmost floor, you can clearly see sailboats dotting the Han River below.

Inside the pavilion, the noble spirit of Zhuge Liang permeates every corner. A wealth of poems and paintings line the walls, filling the space with a profound cultural ambiance. Mountain scenery, profound cultural heritage, the Han River and drifting sailboats combine to form this unique fairyland on earth.
