Deep Retreat of the Crouching Dragon
Deep Retreat of the Crouching Dragon was first built in the 7th year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1729 AD), with a history of 281 years. Later, the Administration Office of Longzhong Scenic Area reconstructed the complex in 1982.
The horizontal inscribed board bearing the four characters "Deep Retreat of the Crouching Dragon" above the gate was inscribed by Wang Renzhong in 1984, who once served as Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The entire architectural compound is divided into three courtyards: the East Courtyard, the Middle Courtyard and the West Courtyard.
