There are four exhibition halls in total, which respectively display the 8,000-year rice cultivation history of Sihong, the nutritional value of rice, and the rapid progress of rice agricultural technology in Sihong.
The creative kitchen inside the museum showcases local characteristic rice food culture. The rice sales and exhibition area displays and sells a variety of local branded rice and rice products such as Sihong "Xieyuan Crab Garden Rice".
Grown on the west bank of Hongze Lake, Sihong rice features uniform grains and bright luster. When cooked, it releases a rich delicate fragrance with a sweet and mellow taste that lingers on the palate. In 2016, Sihong Rice was included in the Catalogue of Famous and High-Quality Chinese Agricultural Products by the Ministry of Agriculture.
