Luohanshan Provincial Forest Park is located at Gujikou Work Zone of Youxi State-owned Forest Farm in the southern part of Banmian Township. It has a total forest area of over 717 hectares. The terrain of the park stretches from northeast to southwest. The highest peak, Luohan Mountain, rises to an altitude of 1,227.5 metres. It features complicated geological structures formed by multiple tectonic movements.

The park enjoys a humid subtropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 18.9℃. It receives abundant sunshine and keeps green all year round. The landscape is gorgeous, featuring towering peculiar peaks, jagged rocks and towering ancient trees. There is a great variety of nationally and provincially protected rare trees and wild animals. It is free from sweltering heat in summer and bitter cold in winter, making it suitable for tourism all year round.

In accordance with the planning principles, nature, construction guidelines and distribution of scenic resources, the forest park is divided into six functional zones: Comprehensive Service Zone, Forest Experience Zone, Jungle Adventure Zone, Mountain-top Leisure Zone, Forest Scientific Research Zone and Background Protection Zone
