Ice Lake Valley — "Jiuzhaigou of Guandong"

Ice Lake Valley is a national 4A-level scenic area located in Tiangang Development Zone, Jiaohe City. It is 26 kilometres from the Tiangang Expressway Exit and covers a total area of 5,500 hectares.

The scenic area boasts dense forest and abundant wildlife. The woodland covers 4,657.6 hectares, wetlands and water areas span 800 hectares, and primeval forests take up 500 hectares. Merely 50 kilometres away from Jilin City, it is known as the closest primeval forest to the metropolis.

Major attractions include primeval forests, Divine Tree Valley, Ice Lake Stream, Ice Lake Waterfall and the alpine lake.

Thanks to thick ancient forests and high elevation, cool breezes linger here even in the scorching summer heat, making it an ideal summer resort.
