Sanqing Temple is a well-known Taoist sacred place. Nestled deep in the dense woods on the northern hillside of Wengquan Mountain, it was first built in 1934. During the Cultural Revolution, the buildings were destroyed and Taoist priests were dispersed. Reconstruction was completed in 1994.

Now there are 7 halls covering a total area of 800 square metres. Besides, there are 5 Laoxiu Caves with a total length of 140 metres. More than 40 statues are housed in the halls and caves.
