Industrial Tourism Resources of Tonghua County

Located in Daquanyuan Township, Tonghua County, Jilin Province, it is a National 4A-level Tourist Attraction, a Jilin Province Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site, and a Jilin Province Safe Scenic Area通化市人民政府. The Daquanyuan Liquor History and Culture Museum within the scenic area is the only thematic museum in Jilin Province dedicated to liquor culture. The brewing technique of Daquanyuan Liquor is recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage通化市人民政府. In 2013, the Baoquanyong Distillery was designated as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level by the State Council通化市人民政府.

From 2005 to 2007, the Jilin Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and Tonghua Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau conducted archaeological excavations at the site of the Qing Dynasty Baoquanyong Distillery in Daquanyuan. They successfully unearthed one ancient well, one ancient fermentation cellar, one ancient steamer stove, 53 wooden wine vats, and 20 underground cement wine vats. The Qing Dynasty Baoquanyong Distillery is an important modern industrial heritage site. The remaining ancient well, fermentation cellar, steamer stove, and clusters of wooden and cement wine vats are among the few cultural relics in China that fully demonstrate the ancient liquor-making process通化市人民政府.

In 2007, the site of the Qing Dynasty Baoquanyong Distillery in Daquanyuan was approved as a Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the People's Government of Jilin Province. In the same year, Daquanyuan Liquor self-funded the restoration and protection of the cultural relics and built a small 200-square-meter site museum. In June 2009, based on the small site museum, Daquanyuan Liquor expanded it into a 1,200-square-meter history and culture museum, which comprehensively displays the four major ruins of the Qing Dynasty Baoquanyong Distillery and the nearly 400-year history and culture of Daquanyuan Liquor.

Developed by China Tongtian Wine Group Co., Ltd. with an investment of 100 million RMB, the park is built on the in-depth exploration of wild mountain wine brewing techniques of Changbai Mountain, inheritance of mountain wine history and culture, and development of a national wine brand. It is a National 4A-level Tourist Attraction, a Jilin Province Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site, and a Jilin Province Safe Scenic Area.

The museum is located in the main production area of Tongtian Wine Group. Construction began in May 2011, and it was fully completed and opened to the public in 2013. It covers 5,000 square meters above ground and 5,000 square meters underground, with an exhibition area of 2,500 square meters.

The main building of the museum adopts traditional Chinese architectural style, with a wine glass-shaped design in the center, symbolizing the profoundness of wine culture. On June 20, 2013, Wang Yunkun, former Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee, visited the enterprise and inscribed the museum's name: "China Mountain Wine Museum".

Founded on December 1, 1985, Dongbao Group was named a National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site in 2004. Primarily engaged in pharmaceuticals, the group spans multiple industries including environmental protection building materials, wine making, international trade, real estate development, printing, and green agriculture.

It has successively developed traditional Chinese medicines such as Zhennaoning Capsules and Dongbao Gantai, biological injections including Terzin, Teril, Tekang, and Gansulin, as well as high-quality products like Tonghua-brand wine and Bofilis environmental protection building materials.

Over the past 20 years, Dongbao Group has set numerous "national records". Its independent products have won 31 national-level awards and 37 provincial-level awards. The Dongbao trademark is a China Well-Known Trademark, and Tonghua-brand wine is one of China's most valuable brands.

Established in 1995 and located in Wanwanchuan Botanical Garden, Tonghua County, Jilin Province, it is a Jilin Province Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site. The company mainly uses rare natural Chinese medicinal herbs from Changbai Mountain to develop drugs for anti-cancer, anti-aging, and other intractable diseases. Its main products include Hedyotis Diffusa Injection, Shenwei Oral Liquid, Hechan Tablets, and Zizhi Polysaccharide Tablets.

The enterprise has been awarded the title of China Outstanding Private Technology Enterprise and was named one of the first batch of National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Sites in 2004. In addition, the company has achieved significant development in cosmetics, health products, and liquor businesses.
