he Nanzhao Museum is located on Baoguo Street in the ancient city of Weishan, Dali Prefecture. It was fully completed on October 1, 2015. The completion of the museum is of extraordinary significance for the protection, exhibition, research and inheritance of the historical and cultural heritage of the Nanzhao Kingdom. It also recreates a miniature version of the Nanzhao Kingdom, allowing visitors to travel back through history.

On March 28, 2016, the Nanzhao Museum in Weishan Yi and Hui Autonomous County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, officially opened to the public. Thousands of cultural relics were displayed to visitors for the first time, attracting 40,000 people on the opening day.
