Six-Day Ice & Snow Shangri-La Tour: Jingpo Lake Ice Waterfalls, Changbai Mountain Hot Springs, Jilin Rime, Beidahu Ski Resort, Snow Castle & China Snow Town
Day 1
Group pick-up in Jilin. Walk along the riverside bund to admire Jilin Rime, one of China’s Four Great Natural Wonders. Visit the Catholic Church and Century Square to soak in a fairy-tale ice-and-snow wonderland. Transfer by coach to Beidahu Ski Resort in Jilin Province. Optional paid snow activities are available: skiing, cable car rides, snowmobiling, horse-drawn sleighs, dog-drawn sleds, snowman building, spinning ice tops and ice whipping tops.

Day 2
Coach transfer to Changbai Mountain. En route, appreciate graceful Korean Pine and slender silver birch forests.

Day 3
Enjoy winter vistas of Changbai Mountain, primeval forests and frozen waterfalls, and soak in Julong Hot Spring Group. Skiing is also available for visitors. Then travel to Dunhua and visit Zhengjue Temple, Asia’s largest Buddhist nunnery.

Day 4
Coach transfer to Jingpo Lake, China’s largest mountain barrier lake. Admire snow rime, the frozen Diaoshuilou Waterfall, Mao Gong Mountain, Deng Xiaoping’s stone inscription and Liu Shaoqi’s wooden lodge. After lunch featuring fresh live fish from Jingpo Lake, head to Mudanjiang by coach.

Day 5
After breakfast, stroll along the Mudanjiang River. Pay homage to the monumental sculpture of the Eight Heroines Who Drowned Themselves in the River, and visit Mudanjiang China Snow Castle, the world’s largest snow architectural complex. Post-lunch coach trip to China Snow Town (Shuangfeng Forest Farm).

Day 6
Tour clusters of ethnic wooden houses featured in films and take photos. Experience fun activities including sheep-drawn sleighs and horse-drawn sleds, or ride alpine sightseeing vehicles deep into the mountains to photograph snow scenery. Lunch consists of authentic forest-region specialties. Afterwards, visit Bayi Ski Resort of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, a renowned alpine skiing venue and national-level snow sports training base. Finally, take the coach back to Mudanjiang, concluding this delightful ice-and-snow journey!
