Shaoxiang Resort

Shaoxiang Resort is located within the forest management area of Hongxing Forest Farm in Fangzheng County. It is 25 kilometres from the county seat and 189 kilometres from Harbin. The scenic area is accessible via paved asphalt roads, ensuring very convenient transportation.

Covering a land area of 26,770 square metres with a construction area of 5,500 square metres, this well-equipped resort holds a two-star tourist rating. It consists of one modern main hotel building and four villas. Built against the hills, the buildings and farmhouses are arranged at varying elevations amid thick shade and lush lawns. The resort combines the elegant luxury of modern urban style with simple and genuine rural charm. There is a spacious and flat parking lot for dozens of motor vehicles.

The three-storey main building covers 2,000 square metres and is fully furnished. The ground floor houses a dining hall, bathhouse, billiards room and table tennis room. The bright and spacious restaurant includes a main dining hall and a VIP hall; the main hall can seat 200 guests at the same time. The second and third floors offer guest rooms of high, medium and economy grades to suit travellers with different budgets. The large conference hall in Building No.6 can hold meetings for up to 120 participants, and it serves as the main reception centre for tourists visiting the forest park.

The resort mainly serves green food. Meals feature selenium-enriched rice paired with pollution-free vegetables and wild mountain greens. With elaborate cooking and balanced nutrition, visitors can enjoy tasty and healthy food.

The resort owns more than 100 hectares of paddy and dry farmland, plus 13 fish ponds of different sizes. Visitors can take part in farm work to experience rural life, or go angling by the ponds to relax their minds. It offers an excellent chance to enjoy the joy of nature. When autumn comes and crops turn golden, the resort becomes an ideal destination for agricultural sightseeing tours.
