Daqing Mountain lies in the southern mountainous area of Jingxing County, west of Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital. Bordering the Canyan Mountain and Jin Mountain Scenic Areas, it covers an area of over 40 square kilometers and is 75 kilometers away from the provincial capital. Named a Natural Ecological Park by the Hebei Provincial Forestry Department, it is a scenic resort integrating leisure, vacation, sightseeing, cultural entertainment and ecological wellness.
Daqing Mountain derives its name and fame from its lush greenery. Boasting a serene environment, pleasant climate and fresh air, the area features verdant peaks and well-preserved primitive ecosystems. Rich in negative oxygen ions, it is a veritable natural oxygen bar. Climb up for a panoramic view, and you will see rolling ranges of graceful mountains. Wander through the woods, and you are surrounded by singing birds and fragrant blossoms. Wild flowers and grasses carpet the hillsides; pheasants and hares can be spotted everywhere. Dense pines, cypresses, arbors and shrubs thrive here, alongside a great variety of fruits. The greenery here is pure, rich and utterly captivating.
If Daqing Mountain is a beauty, its most stunning scenery is the red leaves. Every October in golden autumn, ten thousand mu of mountain forests are clad in crimson hues. Smoke trees, wild elms and other red-leaved plants present a gorgeous spectacle, painting the entire mountainside in vibrant red and golden yellow. Its red leaf area exceeds that of Xiantai Mountain Scenic Area. Though not as famous as Xiangshan Mountain, its red leaf scenery is every bit as breathtaking.
The charm of Daqing Mountain also lies in its rural flair. Visitors can enjoy farmhouse meals, stay in courtyard homestays and experience authentic rural fun. Taste pollution-free farm fruits, vegetables and local game, and immerse yourselves in genuine countryside life. There is also an ecological manor (clubhouse) built along the mountain terrain with staggered layouts. Featuring glazed tile roofs, upturned eaves and brackets, vermilion gates and festive lanterns, it embodies the characteristics of northern rural dwellers while exuding elegance. The manor has an antique and stately exterior and tidy interiors. Equipped with dining halls, guest rooms, meeting rooms, multi-function halls and a garden, it provides complete facilities including TV, internet, KTV and bathrooms, and can accommodate more than 50 guests at a time, making everyone feel right at home.
A trip to Daqing Mountain brings not only physical relaxation but also spiritual comfort. You can dine at ease, stay comfortably and have great fun amid peace and tranquility. No wonder visitors linger on and refuse to leave. Its unique charm draws an increasing number of tourists year after year. People come here to escape the hustle and bustle of cities, embrace peace and serenity, and return home fully refreshed.
Mr. Lü Chengzhu, Chairman of Daqing Mountain, sincerely welcomes friends from all walks of life to come and visit!
