A national AA-level scenic area, Lingxiu Villa is divided into three parts. The front section features the Mysterious Gate, Huimu Street, shopping areas and a cruise dock. The central area includes the Suspended Island, Ziwei Mountain, a miniature Great Wall, a maze and Zhenhai Pagoda. The rear section houses the North Island Resort and guest houses.

The Suspended Island and North Island are surrounded by water and face each other across the lake. The water surface between them forms the shape of the number eight, hence the lake is named the Figure-Eight Scenic Lake.

Standing at the entrance of the villa is a 16.7-meter-tall main building. With upturned eaves, intricate bracket sets, golden decorations and vermilion paint, it looks grand and solemn. Its upper floor serves as a cultural relic exhibition hall, displaying ancient pottery, bronze wares and porcelain for visitors to appreciate.
