Glistening water, flocks of soaring birds and pleasant scenery make Hengshui Lake an ideal destination for spring outings. After a nearly three-month winter closure, the scenic area officially reopened on the 3rd.

You can take a boat tour with family and friends to watch birds darting and fish leaping on the water. Stroll along the walking path on the northern side of the scenic area and listen to melodious birdsong, or bring children to play in the park and enjoy the lovely spring scenery.

While visiting Hengshui Lake, don’t miss Lüli Cultural Town in the Binhu New District. It features exquisite Han-style courtyard buildings, a great variety of goods with Han cultural elements, and Sun Jing Academy that carries forward traditional culture. The entire town is permeated with strong Han cultural vibes.

If you want to escape from work stress and daily worries, pay a visit to Shentouzhuang Village in Heyantown, Taocheng District, a Provincial Civilized Village beside Hengshui Lake. It boasts tidy streets and classic houses with white walls and grey tiles. You can also taste authentic farmhouse meals and enjoy idyllic rural views here.
