Multi-Day Panoramic Tour of Mianyang

Tour Highlights: Cover all signature attractions of Mianyang. Visit the science city, explore Wenchang culture, tour Li Bai’s hometown and ancient Qiang towns, spot giant pandas in Wanglang Nature Reserve and enjoy diverse local landscapes.

Itinerary: Day 1: Science City → Fule Mountain → Qiqushan Grand Temple Day 2: Li Bai’s Hometown in Jiangyou → Douchuan Mountain Day 3: Ape King Cave Scenic Area of Western Qiang Jiuhuang Mountain → Pingwu Bao’en Temple Day 4: Wanglang Nature Reserve

Day 1: Visit Science City and try the Space Entertainment Wind Tunnel after breakfast. Then tour Fule Mountain Scenic Area, famous for Three Kingdoms culture, stone stele forests and sculptures. Have lunch at the food district of Furong Hancheng at the foot of the mountain.

Next, take a bus from Fule Bus Station to Zitong, known as the "Emerald of the Ancient Shu Road", which takes around 40 minutes. Upon arrival, take No.1 bus or a taxi directly to Qiqushan to explore the hometown of God Wenchang. Stay overnight at Qiqushan.

Day 2: Take a minibus from Zitong Central Bus Station to Jiangyou in the early morning. The journey lasts about 2 hours and costs 14 yuan. Tour Li Bai’s Hometown and Li Bai Memorial Park, and wander around Qinglian Ancient Town, Taibai Stele Forest and Longxi Courtyard.

Have lunch at the Snack Street along West Changming Road, then take No.4 minibus to Douchuan Mountain to admire its fantastic peaks. Return to Jiangyou for accommodation at night.

Day 3: Take the shuttle bus from Ape King Cave Reception Station (30 minutes) or the Pingwu-bound bus from Bus Station 79 to Ape King Cave. Marvel at the Yellow Dragon rock formations in the cave, have fun at the hunting ground, and watch Qiang folk performances and aerial acrobatics. Experience zip lines, slides and the Lovers’ Bridge.

After lunch, take a bus from Jiangyou to Pingwu and visit Bao’en Temple. Continue the trip to Wanglang Nature Reserve. Pass by Baima Village on the way, where you can catch glimpses of the unique Baima Tibetan customs and the spectacular scenery of lakes nestled among lofty mountains. Arrive at Wanglang in the evening, watch documentaries and listen to stories about the reserve at the campsite.

Day 4: Explore Wanglang Nature Reserve all day and appreciate the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Immerse yourself in the charming Baima Tibetan culture in the evening.
