Covering approximately 30,000 mu, Kongmu River Wetland Park is built along the Kongmu River, the mother river of Xinyu. It includes over 8,000 mu of river beach wetlands and 3,000 to 4,000 mu of paddy field wetlands, featuring an intricate water network and rich flora and fauna.

Based on the superior wetland ecosystem, the park prioritizes ecological protection while carrying out reasonable renovation. Highlighted by wetland scenery, reservoir views and idyllic rural landscapes, it offers tourism activities such as reservoir sightseeing, leisure entertainment, wetland tours and farming experience. Serving as Xinyu’s "green kidney", this suburban ecological wetland park beautifies the city and purifies water sources.
