Jiamusi City Introduction
Jiamusi is a prefecture-level city in the northeastern part of Heilongjiang Province. Nestled in the heart of the Sanjiang Plain, it is known as the "Easternmost Land of China" and the first place in the country to greet the sunrise each day.
🗺️ Geography and Administrative Divisions
Location: Situated at the confluence of the Heilongjiang River, Songhua River and Ussuri River. It borders Russia across the Ussuri River to the east.
Administrative divisions: 4 districts (Xiangyang, Qianjin, Dongfeng and Suburban District), 3 county-level cities (Fujin, Tongjiang and Fuyuan) and 3 counties (Huanan, Huachuan and Tangyuan).
Area & Population: Covering around 32,500 square kilometers with a permanent population of 2.213 million.
