Dongjiaominxiang Catholic Church, also named St. Michael's Church, is one that was built comparatively late in Beijing. It was finished and opened to the public in 1904. Although its scale is small, the style of it is very special, exquisite and nicely-chosen. On the east and west walls decorate colorful flower glasses imported from abroad. The top of the Church is in slope-like shape covered with gray roll glazed tiles. Arch rings are applied to support for top, which increases the height. Being a classic Gothic church, there are 3 rooms running east-west and 14 rooms running south-north, in which there are columns and the floor are made of tiles with flower figures. Since its establishment for near 100 years, it has never been destroyed by any natural or man-made disasters and conserved comparatively well.
