Day 1 Visit Sun Plaza of the Olympic Water Sports Park. Then tour Rizhao Naval Warfare Museum and climb up the Tide Tower. Proceed to Lijiatai Beachcombing Park to dig for shellfish and get close to nature. Later head to Yuqing Tea Garden for free tea tasting. You can take part in tea picking and tea processing, enjoy tea art performances, and experience the culture of Rizhao green tea.

Day 2 Watch the sunrise over the sea in the early morning. Take a speedboat to Taohua Island to pick starfish, collect shells and catch crabs, enjoying the gifts of the sea. Drive to Renjiatai Fishing Wharf and board a fishing boat for sea angling. Experience the life of local fishermen. You can keep all your catch, and the fisher family will cook the fresh seafood for you free of charge. Spend the night in a fisherman’s house and taste home-made seafood meals to experience authentic coastal village life.
