Recommended Self-driving Routes to Wuyuan

Driving Routes

1. From Huangshan City (Tunxi) to Wuyuan

   Travellers coming from northern provinces including Beijing, Shandong and Liaoning, as well as Jiangsu, Anhui (excluding the original Anqing area), Shanghai, and cities in Zhejiang such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shaoxing, Huzhou, Jiaxing and Qiandao Lake are advised to take this route.

   After reaching Huangshan City via expressways, transfer onto Hangzhou–Ruili Expressway (G56) heading for Wuyuan. You may exit at Jiangwan & Huangling Interchange or North Wuyuan Interchange.
2. From Jingdezhen to Wuyuan

   Visitors from Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, Nanchang, Jiujiang and the original Anqing area of Anhui should choose this entry.

   The whole journey follows G56. Exit at Wuyuan or North Wuyuan. The total distance is about 80 kilometres, with a driving time of roughly 50 minutes.
3. From Shangrao to Wuyuan

   Tourists from Nanping and Wuyi Mountain in Fujian can travel via Wuyi Mountain → Shangrao → Dexing (Shangde Expressway) → Wuyuan (Dewu Expressway), and exit to reach the county seat.
4. Self-driving Route from Guangzhou to Wuyuan

   Guangzhou → Nanchang–Zhangshu Expressway → Shanghai–Kunming Expressway → Guangji Expressway → Dechang Expressway → Exit at Wuyuan and drive into the county town.
