Wuying National Forest Park is located in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, on the middle southern slope of the Lesser Khingan Range. It covers an area of 1,041 square kilometers with a population of 45,000 and lies 60 kilometers away from downtown Yichun. Home to the world’s largest and best-preserved virgin Korean pine forest as well as a national-level forest park, it serves as a demonstration zone for forest ecotourism in Heilongjiang Province.
Ancient towering trees stretch endlessly across vast forest seas, creating a pleasant scenic landscape. In recent years, it has developed into a key tourist destination branded around ecotourism featuring virgin Korean pine forests. The park shelters more than 250 rare birds and wild beasts, alongside 700 to 800 varieties of plants, medicinal herbs and wild mountain vegetables.
It consists of eight major scenic zones including Rhododendron Zone, Miniature Landscape Zone, Stone Tiger Mountain Zone and Outdoor Camping Zone, incorporating 20 individual attractions such as Pine Town Bridge, Wave Viewing Tower, Tiger Roaring Mountain, Tianci Lake, Green Valley Lodge, Forest Steam Train and Forest Bathing Area. All these spots are linked by a 17-kilometer figure-eight highway starting at the main park gate.
