Introduction to Qinling Four-Season Ski Resort
The alpine ski resort project is located in Shagou Village, Guanghuojie Town, Ningshan County, covering a total area of 10 square kilometers. The Qinling Four-Season Ski Hall represents a total investment of 50 million yuan and officially opened in January 2016. Its facilities include an indoor ski slope, a children’s snow play area, an ice amusement zone, outdoor winter ski runs, a ski service area, and a three-star hotel with 100 standard rooms.
Upon completion, the resort diversifies the scenic area’s water-themed recreational activities. It fills the gap in summer ice-snow sports across Northwest China and winter ice-snow activities in Ningshan County, and greatly boosts local economic development in Guanghuojie Town.
Facility Specifications
- Indoor ski slope (constant temperature: 3–5°C): 8,000 square meters (200 meters long, 40 meters wide)
- Children’s snow and ice play area: 2,000 square meters
- Ski service area: 2,000 square meters; Hotel: 5,000 square meters (100 standard rooms)
- Outdoor winter ski run: 6,000 square meters (200 meters long, 30 meters wide)
Transportation Routes
Self-driving Route (Recommended)
Total distance: 80 km via Xi’an-Hanzhong Expressway
- Exit at Hechizhai on the Ring Expressway and drive 57 km along the Xi’an-Hanzhong Expressway to Zhuque Exit.
- Continue 8 km to the entrance of Zhuque National Forest Park.
- Drive another 15 km to reach Qinling Four-Season Ski Resort.
Resort Shuttle Bus
- Assembly time: 08:30 a.m.
- Departure time: 09:00 a.m.
- Location: East gate of Changyanju Community, opposite the main entrance of Shaanxi Nature Museum near the TV Tower.
Public Bus Route
Take the coach from Xi’an South Bus Station bound for Guanghuojie and Xunyangba. Buy a ticket to Guanghuojie and inform the conductor you are heading to Qinling Four-Season Ski Resort. You will be told where to get off. Pay an extra fare of about 5 yuan, then alight at the overpass right next to the resort.
