Travel Taboos at Labrang Monastery

1. Smoking is prohibited within the scenic area and nearby mountain forests.
2. Visitors are not allowed to bring incense sticks longer than 60 centimeters into the religious premises. Please do not buy oversized incense.
3. When lighting incense for prayers, please watch out for other visitors to avoid scalding accidents.
4. Most plants and trees in the scenic area are protected species. Do not pick flowers or break branches.
5. Please respect religious beliefs. Photography of Buddha statues inside the halls is forbidden.
