Best Time to Visit Zhenjiang
Spring and autumn are the ideal seasons for traveling to Zhenjiang.
Zhenjiang features a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, similar to Suzhou and Nanjing. The city receives abundant annual rainfall. Summers are hot, while winters tend to be cold and humid.
With mild temperatures, spring and autumn are perfect for sightseeing. These two seasons also host the largest number of festivals all year round.
On December 31 every year, the New Year Bell-ringing Prayer Ceremony is held at Jinshan Temple in Jinshan Park. From March to April, cherry blossoms are in full bloom at Baota Mountain Park. Meanwhile, grand Yulan Flower Festival takes place at Baohua Mountain, and bustling temple fairs are held at Maoshan Mountain in Jurong.
Around the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Osmanthus Festival at Jiaoshan Park and Zhenjiang Golden Autumn Food Festival kick off one after another, filling the city with festive vibes.
