Sucheng
Praised as a "Land of Peach Blossoms", Sucheng is enclosed by mountains on three sides and opens to the sea in the southeast. Legend says Emperor Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty stayed here overnight, hence its name. The scenic area is famed for secluded wild mountain landscapes.

Peacock Valley Scenic Area
A mountain lake natural scenic spot developed in recent years, surrounded by untouched primeval forests rarely trodden by visitors.
The terrain features undulating peaks, crisscrossing deep valleys, and winding streams, waterfalls and ponds that converge and disperse dynamically. Wild flowers bloom all year round, with birds singing amid fragrant foliage and fresh forest air. It is a perfect retreat for seclusion and reconnecting with nature, earning the reputation "Shangri-La of Jiangsu, a hidden paradise".

- Self-drive: Exit at Lianyungang South (Ninghai) on Nanjing-Lianyungang, Xuzhou-Lianyungang, Lianyungang-Yancheng or Fenghua-Guan Expressways, turn right after driving 3 km toward downtown, follow South Island Road for 12 km.
- Public transit: Take the Xinpu-Yuwan Dadaoshan shuttle bus, alight at Shandongzhuang Roundabout, then head west uphill to Peacock Valley.

Seaborne Yuntai Mountain
Rising steeply against the sea, it boasts spectacular grand vistas. A 1,180-meter network links cliff walkways, suspension bridges and cloud promenades, leading straight to Erwei Summit.
The mountain has fresh air and sparse crowds, evoking the feeling of an isolated paradise.

North Gu Mountain
A downtown coastal mountain located on the waterfront of Xugou Street, Lianyun District.
A hidden hiking trail winds up North Gu Mountain, earning the area the nickname "Little Hong Kong". Paved with vibrant red and green plastic surfaces, the trail brims with vitality. Hikers can overlook coastal waters and high-rise buildings of Lianyun District from the path.

Qingsong Ridge Forest Park, Donghai
Formerly a state-owned forest farm, after nearly a decade of development it has become East China’s largest forest hot spring resort open to the public. Covering almost 7,000 mu, it integrates gardens, hot springs, camping and barbecue zones.
Far away from urban bustle, it exudes pure tranquility, with green waters embracing verdant mountains for a peaceful, back-to-nature experience.

Haixi Park, Guannan
Designed around the long-standing culture of the ancient Haixi Kingdom, the park highlights harmony between humanity and nature, history and modern life. Yilu Mountain Scenic Area
A branch of the Taihang Mountains, named after Yi Yin, the wisest prime minister of the Shang Dynasty, who retired here in his old age after founding the dynasty.
Beyond its long history and picturesque mountain waters, the scenic spot features captivating cultural relics: cliff stone statues, carved calligraphy, poems and essays left by literati, and folk legends passed down through generations, all bearing witness to the mountain’s profound historical heritage.

Qinshan Island Tourism Resort
Originally named Qin Mountain, for its silhouette resembling a jade qin zither floating alone on the sea. The island lies about 8 km offshore, dotted with over 20 major historic sites: a thousand-year ancient pavilion, Xu Fu Well, Goddess Temple, Pearl Receiving Platform, Eastern Qin Gate and Divine Stone Path. It has long been hailed as "Ancient Qinshan Island, Fairyland of the Yellow Sea".

Bordering the residual Yimeng Mountain range to the west and Dawu Mountain to the north, the resort is built around Xiaota Mountain Reservoir, Jiangsu’s second-largest reservoir. Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area
Once an offshore island, ancient literati praised it as "Penglai on the Sea, a sacred eastern land". It connected to the mainland in the early Qing Dynasty. In ancient times, a treacherous strait separated West Phoenix Mountain from Kongwang Mountain in Haizhou. The crossing points were formerly named Black Wind Pass and Peaceful Wind Ferry. Xiye Pavilion on West Phoenix Mountain and Chengcha Pavilion on Kongwang Mountain served as rest stops for ancient sea travelers.

Qinglong Mountain Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery
The memorial hall covers 500 square meters, housing extensive archives, photos and precious relics documenting joint anti-Japanese resistance by military and civilians and the struggle for democratic liberation. Collections include witness statements from survivors, personal items and handwritten notes of martyrs, plus captured Japanese military sabers and bullet casings — tangible evidence of the invaders’ crimes.
