Universal Dinosaur Town

Universal Dinosaur Town, integrating multiple distinctive tourist spots including China Dinosaurs Park, Dinosaur Valley Hot Springs, Xiangshuwan Golf Hotel, Dinosaur Town Grand Theatre, Three Rivers & Three Gardens Water Tour Route, Grand Metropark Universal Dinosaur Town Hotel and Dino Water Town, has become a brand-new urban leisure tourist destination in the Yangtze River Delta.
The core of Universal Dinosaur Town is China Dinosaurs Park. It is a large integrated tourism and leisure community that combines theme parks, cultural performances, hot spring recreation, leisure-oriented commercial blocks and animation creativity. Breaking the traditional definition of scenic areas, it distributes tourism and leisure functions across every corner and integrates diverse functions such as culture and accommodation. The whole complex features complete supporting facilities and distinctive characteristics, perfectly blending travel and lodging experiences.

Hongmei Park

Changzhou’s most famous public park with free admission. Hongmei Pavilion and Wenbi Pagoda inside are well-known cultural landmarks.

Take Bus No.9 or B23 to Hongmei Park directly.

Nanshan Bamboo Sea

Tianmu Lake Resort consists of Tianmu Lake Landscape Garden and Nanshan Bamboo Sea. Nestled in the southern mountainous area of Liyang, Nanshan Bamboo Sea borders Yixing City in the east and leans against Tianmu Lake in the north, known as a ten-thousand-mu bamboo forest. It enjoys highly convenient transport; visitors can drive straight to the scenic area along a secondary highway starting from Tianmu Lake.
Located at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui Provinces, it is a spot where rooster crowing can be heard across three provinces. As it sits in the southern hilly area of Liyang, the southernmost tip of Jiangsu Province, it is named Nanshan (Southern Mountain). The average temperature here is 5℃ lower than urban districts, making it a rare summer retreat in the Wu-Yue cultural region.
The scenic area is divided into five zones: Jinghu Lake Entertainment Zone, Leisure Service Zone, Longevity Culture Garden, Historical Cultural Zone and Mountain Hiking Zone. Attractions inside include Bamboo Town Street, Jinghu Lake Corridor, Cable Car Sightseeing Platform and the First Peak of Wu-Yue. Shimenjian Peak, the highest mountain in Changzhou, also stands within the resort.

  • Package ticket including cable car and sightseeing shuttle: ¥190 per person

Tianmu Lake

Located 8 kilometers south of Liyang City, Tianmu Lake encompasses two national large-scale reservoirs: Shahe Reservoir and Daxi Reservoir. It gets its name as an extension of the Tianmu Mountain Range. Construction of the scenic area kicked off in 1994. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction integrating forest vacations, agricultural sightseeing, ecological protection and lake recreational activities.

  • Landscape Garden (including lake cruise): ¥125
  • Nanshan Bamboo Sea: ¥90
  • Imperial Water Hot Springs: ¥218
  • Parent-child package ticket: ¥225

Tianning Temple

This thousand-year-old Buddhist temple is hailed as "the No.1 Buddhist Monastery in Southeast China". Its major spots include the Heavenly King Hall, Arhat Hall, Mahavira Hall, Guanyin Overlooking the Sea Hall, Jade Buddha Hall and Release Pond. Tianning Pagoda, known as "China’s No.1 Buddha Pagoda", stands inside and ranks first among more than 4,000 pagodas nationwide.
