There is only one airport here, namely Gasa Airport, which sits quite close to the urban area.

Airport Transportation
Special airport shuttle buses run between the airport and downtown in both directions. The fare is ¥4. Operating hours: 07:30 – 22:00, with departures roughly every 30 minutes.
You may also take Bus No.1: Turn right after exiting the airport and walk about 500 meters to Jinghong Vocational Secondary School, where you can board Bus No.1 heading for the city center. Taxis normally charge a flat fare of ¥30 without using the meter.

Note: The platform for Bus No.1 is on the left side of the airport. Walk around 800 meters ahead to find it.
Additional Tips
- Xishuangbanna Gasa Airport is relatively small in scale.
- Passenger flow is moderate, mostly consisting of tourists and people coming here for vacation and winter retreat.
- The air quality here is excellent. Flight delays and passenger detention caused by bad weather are rare, which also keeps the airport from being crowded 😊
- The airport is just a few kilometers from downtown Jinghong. It takes less than 15 minutes to drive there from the city center.
- To avoid rushing, please set off from downtown 1.5 hours in advance.
