How to Get to Gupo Mountain

Nanning → Nanning-Wuzhou Expressway → Wuzhou → Guiyang-Wuzhou Expressway (towards Hezhou) → Hezhou Exit → Downtown Hezhou → Gupo Mountain Avenue → He-Gu Road → Gupo Mountain National Forest Park

Tourist buses run directly from Hezhou Bus Station to Gupo Mountain. The ride takes 50 minutes, operating from 7:00 to 15:00. The fare is 6 yuan per person.

It is recommended to take the earliest bus to enjoy ample time for sightseeing and hiking. Exploring all scenic spots across the mountain requires considerable stamina and time. In particular, you need to climb to the mountaintop to view Galaxy Waterfall, the largest waterfall here.

The last bus returning from Gupo Mountain to Hezhou departs at 17:30. You may also hire a taxi for a full-day trip, with the minimum fare around 80 yuan.
