It is said that the lavender here has been improved through cultivation, allowing visitors to enjoy blooming flowers all year round, making it easier to witness a vast sea of blossoms than in Provence, France. Within the Panlong Gorge Ecotourism Scenic Area (ticket required) lies a lavender field covering over 20,000 square metres. Endless lavender blooms bathed in sunlight glow with a dreamy purple haze, forming the most stunning highlight of Panlong Gorge at present.

The lavender releases its strongest fragrance and displays its most vivid, gorgeous hues during this period.

Tips: Lavender normally blooms from June to August. However, potted lavender or plants grown under protective cultivation enjoy an extended flowering cycle, so their blooming time varies.
