Dragon Palace Cave Scenic Area (Ticket Required)
The entire cave stretches 1,400 meters, fed by crystal-clear Longquan Stream. Shaped like a long corridor, the cave is adorned with breathtaking natural stone formations that look as if they belong to an underwater dragon palace. It consists of four interconnected grand halls filled with marvelous sights. Stalactites, stalagmites, stone flowers and stone pillars take countless vivid shapes: lions, tigers, chickens, birds and blooming lotus flowers, leaving visitors free to imagine various images. Multiple natural stone dams enclose deep, cool pools that transport visitors into an ethereal fairyland. The most spectacular sight lies in the fourth hall: a giant stone dragon coiled up with distinct scales and claws, so lifelike that all visitors marvel at nature’s craftsmanship.
Dajiaowan Tourist Zone, Zhapo, Hailing Island (Ticket Required)
A renowned national AAAA-level scenic spot, Dajiaowan sits in the southeast of Zhapo Town on Hailing Island, Yangjiang, Guangdong Province. Nestled against green mountain ridges and blessed by nature, it is famous for bright sunshine, soft beaches, rolling waves and fresh seafood, ranking as the most iconic attraction on Hailing Island. Together with Moon Bay in Shaba, Yangxi, Dajiaowan is known as a pair of "Sister Bays".
Lingxiao Rock Scenic Area
Praised as "The No.1 Cave in Southern China", Lingxiao Rock impresses visitors with its grandeur. The cave reaches over 120 meters in height, divided into three tiers featuring Lingxiao Hall, Lingxiao Palace and viewing terraces, with more than 30,000 square meters of explorable area open to tourists. Lingxiao Hall is spacious and lofty, with a clear brook murmuring through the rock bottom. The cave is filled with vivid, varied stone formations that create a mythical wonderland.
Beiluowan Scenic Area
Located at the southwest tip of Hailing Island, Beiluowan is enclosed by mountains on three sides and faces the South China Sea to the south. Its beach is 0.6 kilometers long and 60 to 150 meters wide, featuring silky fine sand, clean water, gentle waves and a spiral-shaped bay. The bay backs onto flat land, flanked by Mawei Mountain and Wangliao Ridge facing each other. An arc-shaped hill named Tiemaozai stands at the southeast of the beach, separating a narrow rocky shore from Wangliao Ridge, home to enchanting spots including the Pirate Treasure Cave, Fairy Cave, Skyline Crack and Ox Stone. A natural lagoon runs through the northeast side of the beach, forming diverse landforms and layered scenic views.
Mawei Island Scenic Area
Mawei Island is covered with dense shade trees, featuring shallow, calm seabeds and tranquil waters. The wide safe swimming zone makes it extremely popular among tourists. The highlight here is "Sunset over Mawei Island". As the westernmost point of the island, it offers the perfect vantage point to watch sunsets, especially stunning when the sky blazes with crimson glow at dusk.
