What Hot Springs Are There in Yangjiang (Tickets Required)? Which Hot Springs in Yangjiang Are Worth Visiting?

Hot pot is a winter staple, but locals in Yangjiang have another great alternative besides hot pot — hot springs!
When the cold weather sets in, Yangjiang residents love soaking in local hot springs after enjoying hot pot. While the sea wind howls outside, you immerse yourself in warm spring water surrounded by soft steam, an incredibly relaxing and pleasant experience.

Chundu Hot Spring, Yangchun

The spring water at Chundu Hot Spring Scenic Area is a rare high-temperature radon spring worldwide, with a water temperature reaching 79.4°C and a radon content of 108.17 Mache units. It features low mineralization and is rich in multiple trace elements essential to the human body. The crystal-clear spring water soothes the mind and lifts your spirits during a soak. Most notably, it boasts a long medicinal history and widely recognized therapeutic effects.
Nestled beside Hebiao Reservoir in Mashui Town, the scenic area backs onto Gouji Peak to the north and is enclosed by mountains on three sides, with a lake stretching out to its front. Granite boulders of varying sizes scatter neatly across the site.
Green trees take root in rock crevices, casting dappled shade. The air is exceptionally fresh, and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful.

Guigang Hot Spring, Yangchun

Guigang Hot Spring is a natural outflow of deep underground groundwater. Atmospheric precipitation seeps deep underground through permeable rock layers, fissures and faults. After deep underground circulation and mineral leaching, the water travels several thousand meters beneath the earth before emerging naturally on the surface.
Its chemical composition, water flow and temperature remain relatively stable year-round. Around 1,000 tons of spring water flow out naturally each day at a surface temperature of 51°C. Abundant minerals, especially metasilicic acid, are dissolved in the water, with no toxic or harmful substances detected. This precious medicinal hot spring delivers great benefits to human health.

The spring water contains nearly 50 minerals beneficial to the human body. When adjusted to a comfortable 38–39°C, the water calms the nerves and lowers blood pressure. Hydrogen sulfide spring baths boost metabolism and are especially suitable for auxiliary conditioning of diabetes.
