Photo-Worthy Spots in Yangjiang
Jinshan Botanical Park
Jinshan Botanical Park is one of the best places for photography in Yangjiang. Opened to the public in 2011, it is a relatively new and spacious park divided into seven functional zones, including an idyllic sightseeing area and a tropical plant landscape zone. The park boasts a picturesque landscape featuring hills, streams, blooming flowers, lush grass and diverse trees.
It houses a wide array of rare plants such as araucaria and big-leaf mahogany. In addition, nearly 400 ornamental plant varieties grow across the grounds. Plum Garden, Peach Blossom Garden and Azalea Hill are all ideal backdrops for photos. The park is fully equipped with pavilions and stone benches for visitors to rest. A tranquil lake sits within the park; gentle breezes stir shimmering ripples that look stunning framed by surrounding foliage. Shots capturing the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature always turn out breathtakingly beautiful.
Oriental Silver Beach (Top Location for Landscape Photography)
Oriental Silver Beach on Hailing Island is known as the "Window to the South China Sea". It adjoins the famous Ten-Mile Silver Beach, forming an endless, lengthy stretch of coastline.
Boasting a prime geographic location, Oriental Silver Beach delivers stunning vistas of turquoise seas, azure skies and golden sands. Dajiao Mountain rises to its north, while the South China Sea lies to its south. The scenic area is embraced by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on the fourth. In summer, the surrounding hills are covered in lush greenery with pleasant weather. Well-developed catering, accommodation and entertainment facilities make it a versatile tourist resort. Here you can capture magnificent seascapes and mountain views while sampling fresh local cuisine, making it a paradise for photographers.
Lingxiao Rock (Yangchun)
Lingxiao Rock, a short distance from downtown Yangchun, is another fantastic spot for photos. It is hailed as "the No.1 Cave Mansion of Southern China" and packed with iconic sights. Standout attractions include the Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder and the Giant Ganoderma Pillar, alongside four great natural wonders: Skyline Crack, Moon Reflected in Water and more. Every corner inside the cave makes a perfect photographic backdrop, and you can snap stunning shots with just a casual click of the camera.
