Meibei Historic Village sits on the bank of the Fushui River in the southeast of Qingyuan District, Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province. It is 30 kilometers away from downtown Ji’an and falls under Wenpi Township of Qingyuan District, covering roughly one square kilometer. The village retains well-preserved cultural relics spanning ancient, modern and contemporary times. These precious historical remains carry profound cultural connotations that never fail to amaze visitors, earning Meibei widespread fame.

As a time-honored village embodying Luling Culture in Ji’an, Meibei boasts 367 intact ancient buildings dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. It also houses the former headquarters of the Fourth Red Army, the venue of the February 7th Conference, the Former Residence of Mao Zedong and the Former Residence of Zeng Shan, plus a centuries-old ancient street. This village is blessed with outstanding people, having nurtured three generals of the People’s Republic: Generals Liang Xingchu, Liang Biye and Liang Renjie.

By Train: Arrive at Ji’an Railway Station, then walk to Qingyuan Bus Station of Ji’an. Take a coach bound for Wenpi Township, which will bring you to the entrance of Meibei Historic Village in around 40 minutes.
