Dipai Hot Spring in Longmen, Huizhou – China’s First Music-Themed Hot Spring
Moon-Shrouded Pool
Dipai Hot Spring integrates elements of traditional Chinese classical music into hot spring culture. It uses music to soothe the mind and hot spring water to nourish the body. The Zen Music Hot Spring is the top wellness pick here. As a rare soda-type hot spring in the world, it is hailed as the king of all hot springs.
Flower-Bashful Pool
The resort features nearly 100 distinctive open-air hot spring pools of diverse styles. A staggering 99,999 bamboo trees are arranged neatly across the resort, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Special themed pools infused with red wine, cassia twigs, roses and more cater to all kinds of preferences.

Self-Driving Route
South China Expressway → Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway (connectable via Airport Expressway) → Jiebei Expressway → Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway → Exit at Dipai → Drive straight 8 kilometres along Provincial Highway 353 → Arrive at Dipai Hot Spring (whole journey takes around 2 hours)
Sanmen Island – The Little Saipan of Guangdong
Also known as Tuoning Island, Sanmen Island is the largest island in eastern Shenzhen. Covering roughly 5 square kilometres with a 13-kilometre coastline, it ranks among China’s best-preserved natural ecological offshore islands. The seawater is crystal clear, with fine, pale white and gentle beaches. 293 fish species inhabit its waters, and 485 varieties of vegetation grow across the entire island.
Visitors can cast off the stress of daily life, escape the hustle of the city, and immerse themselves in the fresh embrace of the sea and nature.
Snorkelling
Moon Bay Beach on Sanmen Island is ideal for snorkelling. The waters are calm with no undercurrents and strong natural buoyancy.
Shuazhou Island – A Charming Uninhabited Islet with Crystal-Clear Water
Shuazhou Island is an uninhabited islet located in the middle of Daya Bay. Surrounding it lie smaller islets including Dala Island, Ping Island, Bitouding, Big & Little Shuangzhou, plus numerous rocky reefs such as Zhuli Pai, Zhusongzai, Houzhou and Deng Huo Pai to the southeast. Water depths range from 12 to 18 metres.
The scenery is stunning. Around 500 metres across the sea sits the beach of Dajia Island; fireworks set off there at night look even more spectacular viewed from Shuazhou Island. Though tiny, the island features hills, soft beaches, abundant plants and uniquely shaped rocks, with exceptionally pristine seawater. Note that there is no shade or fresh water on the island.
Butterfly Valley, Yingde
Countless streams and waterfalls wind through the valley, with blue clear waters rivalling Jiuzhaigou, and picturesque mountains and rivers reminiscent of Guilin.
Nestled in Shigutang Town, Yingde City, Qingyuan, Butterfly Valley remains an undeveloped pristine wilderness and arguably the best stream-trekking destination near Guangzhou. The TV drama The Confidant starring Steven Ma and Tavia Yeung filmed scenes in this area.
Dragon Phoenix Villa Film & Television Resort, Dongguan
Situated in Fenggang Town, Dongguan, the resort borders Shenzhen and Huizhou and serves the entire Pearl River Delta. It offers direct access to Shenzhen International Airport, Yantian Port in Shenzhen, downtown Guangzhou and Guangzhou International Airport. Bus routes 2, 5 and 9 within Fenggang Town all stop at the villa.
