Many visitors come to Luofu Mountain mainly for its hot springs (tickets required).

It is recommended that you explore most of the scenic spots at the foot of the mountain before hiking uphill. After finishing sightseeing on the mountain top, you can take the ropeway back down. The attractions at the foot of the mountain are rather mediocre, so you can just wander around briefly. The uphill hike stretches roughly five to six kilometers with nothing scenic along the way. If budget is not an issue, buying a round-trip cable car ticket is a good choice. The cable car only takes you halfway up the mountain, and you will need to keep climbing after getting off. There is an interesting small rock on the upper mountainside, which looks just like the immortal stone that birthed the Stone Monkey on Flower and Fruit Mountain (tickets required).

It enjoys an advantageous geographical location with highly convenient transportation links. It sits right beside the Chengdu-Mianyang Expressway and the Baocheng Railway, forming a loop with the golden tourist route covering Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Beichuan Ape King Cave and Pingwu Bao'en Temple in Sichuan Province. It also serves as the only passage from Mianyang and An County to the Qianfo Mountain and Baishui Lake scenic areas. Six transport routes (Chengdu-Anzhou, Mianzhu-Anzhou, Deyang-Anzhou, Mianyang-Anzhou, Maoxian-Anzhou, Pingwu-Anzhou) lead to Sangzao Town, where the scenic area is situated.

Driving from Jiangyou to the destination takes 1 hour and 20 minutes. Our party includes three adults and one child, and the child does not need a ticket.
